August Event
I hope the summer is going pleasantly for everyone. As we said, we're on our summer recess at the moment, but we shall nonetheless be doing something for the feast of the Assumption, Monday 15th. There is a Sung Mass at Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane, and we shall be hearing it before going for supper somewhere. Here is the facebook.
The reason that we stress that these are unofficial events is that we have no involvement in the organisation, we're simply attending a Mass and going for dinner afterwards. In addition, we have no idea who is around at the moment because of summer holidays and so on, so these events are not representative of our usual activities. It could be a very cosy evening meal with a small number of people; it could be as busy as usual. Our last unofficial event the other week was a very pleasant affair. This is more likely to be busier, like the unofficial Annunciation Mass + dinner. This'll be a surprise!

Summer Recess
When we return it shall be with a Solemn High Mass. In the meantime, the usual suspects may be found at places like Corpus Christi Maiden Lane at 6.30pm, second Friday of the month, and the same place on Monday evenings at 6.30pm. St Bede's, Clapham Park is a big centre of things on a Sunday, and I personally shall be at St James, Spanish Place on Sunday mornings, Deo volente.
The blog will remain active (in so far as it ever has been).
Have a good break!
